Laos is a landlocked country in Southeast Asia, known for its lush mountains, winding rivers (Mekong) and vibrant traditions. It has boarders with Myanmar, Thailand Cambodia & Vietnam and is still a communist country that persecutes Christians. It is home to diverse ethnic groups and rich cultural heritage, but also one of the least reached nations with the Gospel. While Buddhism is the dominant religion, many rural communities live in spiritual and physical poverty, creating opportunities to bring hope and transformation through the message of Christ. Laos remains a place where the need for the Gospel is great, and the harvest is waiting.
