In the northeast Nong Khai province of Thailand, which hugs the Mekong River on the Thai/Laos border, Pastor Suphon and Pastor Ying lead groups of believers who are reaching out to their surrounding communities.  These pastors and their churches are part of Mission Ventures Thailand who are planting churches all across Thailand reaching out into new areas. We are very excited about the connections and the doors that are opening to us in Nong Khai province.

With a vision for community outreach the pastors began by meeting with a local village leader and were surprised how welcome they were and how pleased the leader was to learn they wanted to serve the community. “You are the first church that have come to bless the people,” he told them.

Since then, they have blessed the underprivileged community with food and provisions, given free music lessons to young people, and Pastor Suphon even gave out free haircuts and was able to share the Good News with people.
